The General Settings panel is where you configure the core global options for your booking system. Navigate to Radius Booking → Settings → General. Use the Reset button to restore defaults, or Save Settings to apply your changes.
1. Currency & Price #
Control how prices are displayed across your booking forms and emails.
- Currency Symbol: Select your preferred currency (e.g., USD $).
- Symbol Position: Choose whether the currency symbol appears before or after the price, before or after with space (e.g., Before price → $20, Before with space price → $ 20).
- Number of Decimals: Set how many decimal places prices display (e.g., 2 → $20.00).
- Thousand Separator: Choose the character used to separate thousands (e.g., Comma → 1,000, Dot 1.000, or Space 1 000).
- Decimal Separator: Choose the character used for decimals (e.g., Dot → 0.99, Comma 0,99).
2. Phone Settings #
Configure how phone number fields behave on the booking form.
- Countries Shown in Phone Field: Choose which countries appear in the phone country code dropdown (e.g., Show all countries).
- Default Country: Set the pre-selected country code (e.g., United States).
- Format Phone Number on Input: Toggle on to auto-format the number as the customer types.
- Show Country Dial Code Next to Flag: Activate this button to display the dial code alongside the country flag.
3. Authentication #
Manage how customer accounts are created and accessed.
- Auto-create Users on Appointment Confirmation: When enabled, a WordPress user account is automatically created for a customer upon booking confirmation.
- Customer Can Register for an Account: Switch on to allow customers to manually register for an account on the booking form.
4. Setup Pages #
Link your WordPress pages that contain Radius Booking shortcodes, so the plugin knows where to direct customers.
- Booking Form Page: Select the page where your main booking form is embedded.
- My Booking Page: Determine the page where customers can view and manage their existing bookings.
5. Business Information #
This information is used across customer communications and your booking calendar.
- Company Name: Your business name as displayed on emails and booking forms.
- Business Phone: Insert your business contact number with country code.
- Business Address: Write your physical business address.
- Company Logo URL: Upload your business logo. It’ll be shown on booking forms and emails. Click the delete icon to remove it.
6. Email Settings #
Configure the sender details used for all outgoing booking emails.
- Sender Name: The name shown in the From field of emails (e.g., Booking). Leave empty to use your Company Name.
- Sender Email: The email address used to send notifications. Leave empty to use the WordPress admin email.
- Reply-to Email: The address customers can reply to. Leave empty to default to the Sender Email.
Remember to click Save Changes after making any changes. Use the Reset button to revert all General Settings back to their default values.
